2009 Turnover Rates by Industry

As part of what is becoming a lovely tradition, Compdata Surveys has provided me - and Compensation Force readers - with the latest turnover rates by industry, excerpted from their Annual Compensation Survey.

This data, which includes both voluntary and total turnover, is notably robust, having been collected from more than 4,800 participating HR departments across the U.S.

For comparison purposes, although some of the industry categories have shifted over time, here are the posts featuring 2007 and 2008 turnover statistics.

One question – the page is labeled 2009 – Did they say these were preliminary / YTD numbers, or in fact do they not follow a calendar year?
