Turkeys, Gratitude and the Carnival of HR

It's Thanksgiving Eve here in the United States.  While it is a time of challenge for all of us, I am grateful for a host of blessings this holiday, including:

1. The community of HR bloggers.  So many smart and talented human capital professionals, dedicating the time and energy to providing a forum for discussion and learning.  In that spirit, Rowan Manahan of the Fortify Your Oasis blog brings us an informative, entertaining and ultimately filling Thanksgiving Carnival of HR, Dublin style!

2. Work.  Although a pre-Thanksgiving truckload of client projects has made for light posting here lately, I am so grateful - particularly in these times - to be blessed with work, especially work that I enjoy so.

3. Family.  My children will be winding their way home today, over road and by air, and I am joyfully anticipating their arrival and the chance to spend the holiday with my immediate and extended families.

4. Readers.  What an adventure blogging has been!  I put out my thoughts and ideas and ... people read and respond to them!  I am thankful for this, and for all of you who check in here regularly.
