Reward Plans in the Face of Economic Uncertainty: CF Spot Survey

Are organizations changing - or at least considering changes to - their reward plans and practices in the face of growing economic uncertainty?

I have received a number of questions from readers as well as my own clients regarding the impact of a possible economic slowdown on salary increase budgets, other salary practices and incentive/variable pay plans.  As of this moment, there isn't a lot of hard data out there on whether - and how - employers are reacting to these growing concerns.

So let's get our own spot survey going and see what Compensation Force readers can learn from each other.   Please take a moment to click on the Compensation Force Spot Survey link in the right sidebar, just underneath my brief bio and the "email me" link.  The survey is purposefully brief, only four questions long.  And when you're finished, please send a link to a colleague at another organization with an invitation to participate.

I plan to run this for a couple of weeks; hopefully we'll gather enough responses to have something insightful and useful to report back then.

Thanks in advance for taking a moment to join the effort.
